Nielsen Bainbridge is one of the best known names in
picture framing. Nielsen developed and popularized
the modern aluminum sectional molding and
Bainbridge is well known for their Artcare line of
matting & mounting products.
They have taken a global approach to green framing
and are trying to produces responsible products in
world wide market place. The EcoCare ready made
frames are made from bamboo - a sustainable wood
alternative from the grass family. There are always
carbon footprint issues with a product manufactured
on the other side of the world but we feel the EcoCare
frames a reasonable alternative to the mass market
equivalents.
Eco Care is an idea whose time has finally come…
beautiful tabletop and wall frames that are entirely
earth friendly. Eco Care products use only materials
and components that have a high recycled content or
come from renewable resources. The frame is made of
100% bamboo with water-based stains, the matting,
packaging, and backing is also made of recycled paper.
All the materials are recyclable. We are very excited to
be able to offer these frames to our customers. There
